| Description: |
The encoded protein is a pyruvate kinase that catalyzes the transfer of a phosphoryl group from phosphoenolpyruvate to ADP, This protein has been found to bind Opa protein, This protein has been shown to interact with thyroid hormone and may mediate cellular metabolic effects induced by thyroid hormones, a bacterial outer membrane protein involved in gonococcal adherence to and invasion of human cells, generating ATP and pyruvate, suggesting a role of this protein in bacterial pathogenesis, PKM2 encodes a protein involved in glycolysis |
| Immunogen: |
A portion of amino acids 116-145 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this PKM2 antibody |
| Storage: |
Celcius or lower, Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity, Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized, Aliquot the PKM2 antibody and store frozen at -20 deg |
| Properties: |
C, C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°, If you buy Antibodies supplied by NJS poly they should be stored frozen at - 24° |
