Description: |
Interleukin 12 is a disulfide-linked heterodimer composed of the 40 kD cytokine receptor like subunit encoded by this gene, Overexpression of this gene was observed in the central nervous system of patients with multiple sclerosis (MS), The promoter polymorphism of this gene has been reported to be associated with the severity of atopic and non-atopic asthma in children, This cytokine has been found to be important for sustaining a sufficient number of memory/effector Th1 cells to mediate long-term protection to an intracellular pathogen, This cytokine is expressed by activated macrophages that serve as an essential inducer of Th1 cells development, a cytokine that acts on T and natural killer cells, and a 35 kD subunit encoded by IL12A, and has a broad array of biological activities, suggesting a role of this cytokine in the pathogenesis of the disease, IL12B is a subunit of interleukin 12 |
Immunogen: |
A portion of amino acids 264-290 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this IL-12B antibody |
Storage: |
Celcius or lower, Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity, Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized, Aliquot the IL-12B antibody and store frozen at -20 deg |
Properties: |
C, C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°, If you buy Antibodies supplied by NJS poly they should be stored frozen at - 24° |
