| Background information: |
AGXT2 protects from asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA)-induced inhibition in nitric oxide (NO) production, AGXT2L2 (alanine-glyoxylate aminotransferase 2-like 2) is a 450 amino acid pyridoxal phosphate that exists as a homotetramer, AGXT2L2 localizes to the mitochondria and exists as three alternatively spliced isoforms, AGXT2L2 may have similar functions as AGXT2, Belonging to the class-III pyridoxal-phosphate-dependent aminotransferase family, Elevated blood concentrations of ADMA, Encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 5q35, a methyl derivate of the amino acid arginine and an endogenous inhibitor of nitric oxide (NO) synthase, catalyze the conversion of glyoxylate to glycine using L-alanine as the amino donor, congestive heart failure and atherosclerosis, hypertension, is produced by the physiological degradation of methylated proteins and is found in association with diabetes, such as AGXT2, 3, Members of the class-III pyridoxal-phosphate-dependent aminotransferase family |

| Advisory: |
For antibodies that are in liquid form or reconstituted lyophilized antibodies small amounts could become entrapped on the seal or the walls of the tube, Prior to use briefly centrifuge the vial to gather all the solution on the bottom, specificity and sensitivity, thus reducing its reactivity, Avoid freeze/thaw cycles as they may denaturate the polypeptide chains of the antibody |

Alexa Fluor |
| Group: |
Polyclonals and antibodies |
| About: |
The advantage is that there are more epitopes available in a polyclonal antiserum to detect the proteins than in monoclonal sera, immunohistochemistry on frozen slices or parrafin fixed tissues, Polyclonals can be used for Western blot |
