| Host organism: |
Mouse (Mus musculus) |
| Species reactivity: |
Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby, Pig |
| Specificity and cross-reactivity: |
Clone 2E9/13 is reported to inhibit the mixed lymphocyte reaction and T cell stimulation induced by African swine fever virus and staphylococcal enterotoxin B, Clone 2E9/13 is specific for SLA DR molecules which are expressed on all B cells, In pigs, SLA DQ and SLA DR, Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited, There are 3 major MHC class II proteins encoded by the SLA which are SLA DP, This antibody immunoprecipitates a heterodimer composed of two polypeptides of 28 and 35kD from NP-40 extracts of biotin surface-labelled porcine peripheral blood mononuclear cells, This clone reacts with lymphocytes from all outbred and miniature pigs so far tested, This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones, antigen presenting cells and on certain subsets of resting and activated T cells, suggesting that it recognises a monomorphic determinant of porcine SLA DR, this is referred to as the swine leukocyte antigen (SLA) region, SLA CLASS II DR The major histocompatibility complex (MHC) is a cluster of genes that are important in the immune response to infections |

| Storage and shipping: |
If there is a precipitate in the vial we recommend you to briefly microcentrifugate it prior to use, Repeated freeze - thaw cycles may denature the peptide chains of the antibody and therefore should be maximally avoided, Shelf Life: 18 months from date of dispatch, the antibody should be stored undiluted, Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended, Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short-term storage and at -20 degrees Celsius for long-term |
| Tested applications:: |
Flow Cytometry (FACS), Immunohistology - Frozen (IHC), Immunoprecipitation (IP) |
| Properties: |
C, C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°, If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS mono they should be stored frozen at - 24° |
