| Background information: |
For example, Specifically, TANK is found in the cytoplasm and can bind to TRAF1, TRAF2, and inhibit LMP1-mediated NF kappa B activation, ligand binding by surface receptors in the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor and Toll/interleukin-1 (IL-1) receptor families lead to the formation of a TRAF/TANK complex that mediates the activation of the transcription factor NF-kappaB, or TRAF3, the Epstein Barr virus transforming protein, thereby inhibiting TRAF function by sequestering the TRAFs in a latent state in the cytoplasm, this protein can block TRAF2 binding to LMP1, TANK was initially identified as a novel TRAF-interacting protein that regulated TRAF-mediated signal transduction |

| Advisory: |
For antibodies that are in liquid form or reconstituted lyophilized antibodies small amounts could become entrapped on the seal or the walls of the tube, Prior to use briefly centrifuge the vial to gather all the solution on the bottom, specificity and sensitivity, thus reducing its reactivity, Avoid freeze/thaw cycles as they may denaturate the polypeptide chains of the antibody |

| Conjugation: |
Alexa Fluor |
| Group: |
Polyclonals and antibodies |
| About: |
The advantage is that there are more epitopes available in a polyclonal antiserum to detect the proteins than in monoclonal sera, immunohistochemistry on frozen slices or parrafin fixed tissues, Polyclonals can be used for Western blot |
